Pretzels are a delicious snack and these are very quick and easy to make. The garlic and herb flavor with the touch of parmesan is very tasty!
I love pretzels! Every time we go to the mall I want to buy a pretzel from there to eat while I shop. When I lived in North Dakota (I’m an Air Force Brat) they had a delicious pretzel place in the mall and served a garlic Parmesan pretzel from there that was absolutely divine! So I figured why not make my own!
Eating this delicious, fresh hot pretzel reminds of my childhood of living in North Dakota and shopping at the mall with friends and family. I hope you enjoy this recipe as much as we do!
Preheat oven to 375 degrees
For this recipe you will need:
- 1 stick of butter
- garlic and herb seasoning
- pizza sauce for dipping
- 1 can of Pillsbury pizza dough
- parmesan cheese
I cut my dough into six strips using a pizza cutter. Then I folded the strips in half and rolled them out so they were long and thin.
Put your strip of dough into the shape of a U, cross them and twist the middle to make your pretzel!
After you’ve made your pretzel knots put on cookie sheet. Melt your butter in a bowl and stir in a little parmesan cheese and garlic and herb seasoning. Brush your pretzels and put into the oven until golden brown. After you remove from the oven brush again in the butter. Serve hot with your hot pizza sauce for dipping! Simple, easy, delicious!
