I absolutely LOVE chicken – we cook a lot of chicken in my house and I love mixing it up in different ways so it isn’t the same. My hubby and I both have a taste for spicy foods. The hotter the better! These hot wings are absolutely delicious and full of flavor. You can make them as hot as you want! They are perfect for an appetizer or snack and even dinner!
- one package of wingettes
- sweet n sour sauce
- sriracha sauce
- 2 green onion
- vegetable oil for frying, salt and pepper (not pictured)
Season your wings in a little salt and pepper. About 2 tsp of each. Heat your skillet or fryer and add oil for frying the wingettes. Fry until golden brown and juices run clear.
In another pan heat up your sweet n sour sauce. Add as much Sriracha as you want depending on what level of hotness you are wanting.
Get the sauce to a nice bubbling simmer. Place your wings in a oven safe dish (I used a cast iron skillet) and pour your sauce over your wings. Toss them in the sauce and place them in the oven on broil so they can get a bit crisp to them and the sauce can stick to the wings. You don’t want them in long- only until a few wings have a nice crust on them.
Cut up your green onion and use to garnish your wings prior to serving! Enjoy the sweet spicy taste of these delicious wings!
