Sweet potatoes! Yum! Who doesn’t love this delicious and super healthy veggie? These fries are full of flavor and one of my favorite vegetables to serve to my family. It’s different than the gold or red potato I like to also serve with certain dishes so this just mixes it up a bit. It’s not just a holiday food for sweet potato casseroles. These oven baked sweet potatoes are a perfect side dish for anything especially chicken wings!
They are crispy and the seasoning is perfect on them to give them an excellent taste! My boys loved these fries. They are big on finger foods and the fact they eat sweet potatoes makes me happy! Even Boston, my picky eating five year old, enjoys them! Mom win!
- 3 sweet potatoes (small to medium sized)
- olive oil
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon of paprika
- 1 teaspoon of ground black pepper
Dipping sauce (optional)
- 1 cup of mayo
- tablespoon of Sriracha (or more if you want a bigger kick of spice)
First, peel your sweet potatoes and then slice into sticks. Not too thick and not to thin to where they break. Then coat lightly in olive oil and seasonings and mix in bowl until completely covered.
Then place on non stick baking sheet and bake until a little crisp at 375 degrees.
Serve with Sriracha dipping sauce or your own favorite sauce!
