Summer is almost here, school is out for us and for most kids but we just spent a few days in Cancún, Mexico! Absolutely gorgeous there! It’s my second time visiting and my family’s first and they absolutely loved it!
When traveling with four children ages 9, 5, 3 and 4 months we had to make sure we had our bases covered with a few items that were needed for them for protection on the beach and from the elements.
The weather was perfect but when the sun is out you definitely have to make sure you have on sunscreen so you don’t burn.
My kids literally tanned and came back a shade darker but they didn’t burn which is GREAT! The sunscreen worked perfectly for the kids when playing in the ocean, pool and on the beach.
We also made sure to bring a First Aid Kit!
We brought band-aids, neosporin, wipes to clean and cuts/scrapes, burn cream, and also my 3 yr old sons eczema cream. I also brought mosquito repellent but we didn’t see a single one and no one got bitten but was great to have on hand just in case.
We also made sure the kids and hats and sunglasses. Even our littlest little had sun glasses and a cute little sun hat to protect their eyes and face from the sun. It worked great and even stayed on their heads when the cool breezes would pass through.
If you are traveling to the beach this summer or anytime in the near future remember just these few things can help make sure the kids have fun and stay safe and protected. Happy Summer!!
