Breakfast is the most important meal of the day! It’s good to eat a breakfast that will start your day and get your mind going. Who wants to start the day on an empty stomach? These breakfast sandys are delicious! They have your egg, sausage and white cheddar cheese and of course very simple to make.
To make these tasty breakfast sandwiches all you need is:
- 7 eggs
- salt and pepper
- Jimmy Deans sausage roll
- six slices white cheddar cheese
- a pack of six ciabatta rolls
First I prepared my eggs. I cracked each egg into a bowl. Seasoned with a little salt and pepper and then I did add about a tablespoon of milk. I mixed it all up. I set my oven to 350 degrees and then sprayed a deep cookie sheet and poured my egg mixture in. I let this cook for 15 minutes.
While my giant egg sheet was cooking I then made six large sausage patties out of my Jimmy Dean sausage roll. I made them big enough to fit in the ciabatta roll.
When the egg was done I used the top of a ciabatta roll to see the size of egg I needed for each sandwich. The pan size was perfect to make six of these with a little bit left over that my hubby happily ate while I prepped the sandwiches. After cutting each slice I put my cheese on top to melt.
I did lightly toast my ciabatta rolls in the oven for about 2-3 min just to warm up the bread. I added my sausage then topped with the slice of egg with cheese. They are delicious and my husband loves ciabatta bread being half Italian.
I was able to put the sandwiches in sandwich bags for my husband to take to work for breakfast or for the kids and I to eat for breakfast. I plan on making more and freezing even! They were delicious and very filling. I hope you enjoy this recipe!
