Ever made your own frozen yogurt pops? Yogurt is a delicious treat that contains healthy bacteria very beneficial to the gut which is known as probiotics. Probiotics is important for our gut health. These yogurt pops contain vanilla yogurt slightly sweetened with honey and contains strawberries and watermelon.
Strawberries are a power fruit full of antioxidants and juicy! They are rich in Vitamin C and also help provide fiber to our bodies to keep us healthy as well.
Watermelon is another amazing, refreshing healthy fruit. One of my favorites. It is full of water which of course keeps you hydrated, healthy and also improves heart health!
These yogurt pops are so easy to make and you can eat them for breakfast, a snack or just a healthy dessert on a hot summer day.
- large container of vanilla yogurt
- 2 teaspoons of honey
- slices of watermelon and strawberries blended – about a cup of the fruits blended in blender
- popsicle maker
First mix your honey into your yogurt. Then add yogurt to each of your molds within the popsicle maker until almost full. You want to leave room for your strawberry watermelon juice. My popsicle maker makes 10 popsicles. I then added my strawberry watermelon juice on top of the yogurt and used a knife to swirl in but making sure I left lot of white with the dark pink creating a beautiful looking popsicle. Then freeze 5-6 hours or overnight and enjoy!
The kids love them and they taste amazing. I plan on making more in the future with more fruits for the kids to enjoy!
