Happy October!! With fall comes beautiful leaves changing their colors, fall breezes and delicious fall goodies to bake! This rich, moist pumpkin bread… if you are a pumpkin fan that is… is delicious!! My husband took a loaf to work and one of his coworkers absolutely loved it! My four year old is a big fan too! It is filled with three types of chocolate – milk, dark, and white chocolate chips and the taste of walnuts in it as well. You will love how amazing your house smells and how this pumpkin bread taste!
INGREDIENTS (makes two loaves):
- 2 cups sifted flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 dash of salt
- 1 can of Libby’s pumpkin (15 oz)
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons pumpkin pie spice
- 2 cups of sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
- 1 cup triple chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray two bread loaf pans with non stick cooking spray.
In a bowl gently mix your flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Then add your remaining ingredients to the bowl and mix thoroughly. Once completely mixed add your chocolate chips and walnuts and fold into your batter. Divide batter in half amongst your two bread loaf pans.
Bake for an hour or until toothpick being inserted comes out clean. I hope you enjoy this recipe! It is absolutely delicious!
